Propane Detector
We were camping this past week and at 4 am our detector goes off and I got up opened the door and it would not stop, so my DH disconnectes it. Our TT an 06 32 ft Prowler/bunkhouse and this is the second propane detector we have installed. We had our TT tested the first time for a gas leak and there wasn't one, should we have it tested again or just replace the detector again, if so what brand is the best? Has this ever happened to anyone else? I looked on Amazon and the have some that are battery powered. Please help.....

Anyone going up I77 toward Virginia? We leaving this afternoon and there is a high wind advisory, just wondering if anyone else will be traveling that road? Trying to find an alternate route to Twin Rivers Campground in Crumpler NC on the New River.
Camp Wilderness at Carowinds
Has anyone ever camped at camp wilderness and if so how did you like it? Did you purchase your Carowinds tickets when you booked your reservations with the CG?
RE: Ocean Lakes, HH55, April 1st-5th
just call them everyday, several times a day. i just called March 8th and got April 1-7 in the 2000 section, and i am still calling everyday to see if I can get in one of the letter sections.
RE: What do you do while camping?
You know it's funny, I work for an airline and would much rather camp than fly and my co-workers can't understand it. I love camping...We bike, explore the area, swim, play with our kids, spend good quality family time together. Never in a rush, always at our own pace. Meet new camping friends, love cooking outside, so different than cooking at home...I always hate it when we have to close it up for the winter.
Lake Myers in Mocksville
ok awhile back i ask if anyone had camped at Lake Myers and got a few not so good reviews. Ok we camped their July 26-29, and guess what...we loved it. Our site was not the best, it was in the E-section, as it was very hard to get into, our TT is 32FT with 2 slides on the back and we were like and inch from the trees, with the slides, but it worked, thanks to my DH excellent driving. The sites to stay in are in the A-section as they are pull thurs, there are a few in the B-section also. They have two hugh nice pools, a very good snack bar, putt-putt, bumper boats, water slide, canoeing, fishing, activies are planned on the weekends and they had a DJ on Saturday nite. if you don't like crowds or lots of children then this not the place for you. Everyone is very, very friendly, and helpful. We will return. Yes the CG is mostly permanent sites, but look very nice. All have metal porches and have their sites fixed very nice.
Where to camp Labor Day weekend
We need ideas of places to camp for Labor Day weekend, I have called Lake Myers and they are full, Zooland is full, need suggestions within an hours drive of Winston-Salem. Have teenager girls so a pool is a must have.
RE: Silverback sightings
We were at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach and I saw ALOT of them, as maater of fact we were camping this past weekend at HollyRidge in Boonville, NC and there were two at the campground. I really, really like those. One had the catheral slide out, that looked neat.
