? Why you need to get to fuel pump?
When I replaced mine.
I had to remove it after removing the circuit board on left.
Remove fuel line first than metal connection on fuel pump. I needed a third hand. so had DW hold wrench on conn. from Gen. compartment. While used a deep socket to remove conn.
Not much room to work in. Make sure you use a gas proof sealant when putting it all back together. I did not and had to do second time. Real PITA.
No Gen slide. You can drop it. But a lot more stuff to disconn.
It is not uncommon to have problems with a new RV. No matter who made it. The same with a car or truck a person buys.
A long wait on the phone to some of the biggest manufacturers of any product is possible.
After 8 RV's of different MFG's. Found you get problems at times.
