RE: spring is just around the corner

well we still have a couple of feet of snow on the ground that hasnt gone away yet plus the snow banks taking a long time to melt this year.seeing the geese fly over was a big treat, no robins yet to early for them this year, after they start there trip north you know spring is not to far off.

spring is just around the corner

spring is on the way, i seen the first flock of geese heading north tonight they were flying over late in the dark it wont be to long now till spring unless they change there minds and head south again i have seen them do that befor in the past because of weather, the geese are the best signs i have seen so far this year that spring is near.

RE: engine oil

newer engines have much tighter bearing/surfaces tolerances so they need a lighter oil to flow right,

RE: Fair price for a tune-up

it kinds of depends what parts they use i have paid over $70. just for a set of good plug wires, around $3 or so for each plug ,it all depends on the parts used theres good stuff and cheap stuff, $400 might be closer $700 is way to much.what ever they buy for parts the shop marks it up for more profit plus around a $100 dollar and hr for labor.doing it yourself is much cheaper buy the better quality stuff it last longer.

RE: Old rigs

its not so much the rv as it is the people inside it on how nice they are, see a lot of big fancy rvs with people like cousin eddy and his whole extended family get out after parking with beers in there hands and half a dozen little kids getting off and running every direction.dont judge the rv its the people inside that count.
