Just for what it's worth: some filter companies (I know Fleetguard does) warrant their filters and will also cover consequential damage if their filter fails. Other filter companies warrant only the filter and will not pick up consequential damage. If that's of any concern to you, you may want to check the warranty terms while you're shopping around.

Bill, Thanks for following up. I cross-refferenced your filter number at napa. It is 1268. I am currently in Alabama visiting my niece. As soon as I get back to WV I will see if it fits. It looks the same from the outside. Just to let you know, I called frieghtliner and they told me that mine was a vickers filter and specially made for our coaches and could not be cross-refferenced. Mine is totally rusted on the outside so I could not get any numbers off of it. By the way, cost from frightliner, 93 dollars and change. If this is it, the one I bought here at napa in Alabama, $8.50. I will let you nknow how it turns out. Bill
