Rally information packets weree mailed to all registered and paid attendees on September 14th.
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED AS OF 1 SEPTEMBER 2004
Please send me a Private Message if you are interested in attending the rally.
VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO:
- Salianron for providing door prizes and a cash contribution from a sponsor
- 39eagle for splitting the cost with me on a special surprise gift for all rally attendees
- ibthebest for providing web links to some very unique Kentucky attractions
Thanks for everyone's overwhelming cooperation with the voting! You guys are the best!
I have reserved 15 sites at the campground. The final campground was not one of the choices on the second survey, but there were problems associated with all of the choices that were on the survey. I will be glad to explain the problems with each of the choices if anyone wants to know - please send me a PM.
As it turns out, it is kind of late to be planning a rally for October, and we are very lucky to find a campground that is willing to reserve 15 sites with full hookups and give us use of their activity hall at no additional charge. This campground also has a True Value Hardware store and grocery store that sells breads, cold cuts, milk, etc. right on site, which we Class B owners know is very convenient.

Lynee,
This whole Rally set-up is so well organized and we have you to thank. I sure wish that I could be there. I am trying to plan ways in my head but nothing fits!
In the meantime I will look forward to getting together with everyone, hopefully, next year.
You are just awesome. Thanks for putting this together. I am happy that I made the suggestion for the Rally. Seeing your expert abilities and the response I now wish that I had also suggested:
"Anyone want to Organize A Way for GizmosMom and GizmosDad to pay for their son's College Education?"
Marilyn w/ Joe, 2000 Xplorer Class B van, usually pulling a Ranger bass boat.
Smudge, (in photo) a Shih Tzu/Yorkie Mix and Gizmo is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge
I think you should move to Ca. and organize the next one out here. Just a great job!
Rodger....I agree with you on both points.
We would love to be able to attend the rally, but the 5000 mile roundtrip would require approx. 10 days just for travel without pushing it too hard, which just wasn't practical.
I think a rally location near or West of the Rocky Mountains would be a great idea for those of us on or near the West Coast.
I forgot to put it on the schedule, but we will be auctioning off your rig on Sunday morning after the "My Old Kentucky Home" contest.
I just might be the high bidder.
You will get the money, of course.
Thanks to everyone for all of your compliments...special thanks to Rodger for getting this post to be a "sticky" at the top of the forum, and for doing some special negotiating with RV.net.
Sorry that B250RAMVAN reply is late.
Have been gone fishing.
Sorry, but we will not be able to attend.
Our Sportsmobile rally is Sept 23 to 27,
in Colorado Springs, Co.
Was hoping it would be in the east somewhere,
so we could attend both.
Looks like we are going to miss out on a great time.
Maybe next time.

You will receive payment instructions via e-mail after I receive your completed registration form., and all paid registrants will receive a rally information packet via regular mail in mid-September.
Hey Lynne, Sorry that my post about no body going to Ky. sounded so negative, it didn`t come out like I was thinking, that happens a lot around here. What I was thinking that ALL the folks that live out in the middle and out west might want to vote on a site close enough for those that work and can only get three or four days to party. I guess that makes you from the right coast nobodys ( now you know that aint so ). PS Please don`t take me off the list as I do not work.
