We have a awning support for our 21 foot awning. It sure stops
the roller from sagging. Ours has the awning tensioner with it
and i am very happy with ours. If your awning is around 18 and
up i would have one if i was you

Yes and it works like a champ. The other thing we invested in was Deflappers, use three on each side. Awning doesn't even burp with a wind storm.

I have a center support also... Tried it both ways with the support and without. BY FAR the center support is the way to go. Kinda of tricky the first few times setting up but once you get the hang of it its a cinch. Its a lot better on the roller towing down the road also

I've had a couple. They work great. This rig should have one and it probably will before summer.

I added one to my class C and now to my class A. You will find that the longer the awning the more stress is put on the "awning tube". On my class A the sag was noticeable only after a couple of months.

I odereded the center support from Campers Choice for about $30. Just be sure to install it on a side wall stud. The best way to find the stud is early in the morning when there is some dew on the side of the MH.

I have a picture of mine on my Yahoo Picture site. The link is in my signature (Dale's RV Tips).
