We had purchased a 1982 Coachman TT last year. It's about 19ft to 20ft long with a twin axle (4 tires). It sleeps 6, has a full bath, kitchen area, and weights about 3,000lbs.

For some odd reason, Coachman didn't put a name on this unit.

In the 1970's Coachman had something called the Cadet for TT's. What is the name for the 1980's units made?

(I had the wrong year of 1988 listed)

Could it be Coachman Catalina?

Larry,

Nope. The Coachman Catalina is a 5th wheel, not a TT.

Also, it's not a Coachman Classic either.

Thanks for helping. I'm still clueless to what I own.

Larry,

That's a nice picture, but not even close to what I have. Acutally, it looks nicer and the price is great!

My entry door is at the rear of the Coachman TT and has the dull twin brown strips. I'll have to dig up a photo and post a link to it on the web sometime.

After digging into the box the previous owner had on the TT, I discovered that the unit was made by Coachman on April 7th, 1982. So, I'll update my previous post about to reflect that year instead of 1988. Sorry.

I use to live in Saint Clair, Michigan back in the 70's-80's.

Larry,

Some good news, I found my TT on line, but it's an 18 footer. The appliances and cuboards are identical, but the layout and side door are all wrong.

The outside, with the exception of the door placement is nearly identical.

So, what Coachman model unit is this????

Larry,

Well, after much poking around the internet, the model is a Cadet. Now I can start to look for additional parts.

I'm glad you were able to find out what model you have.
What type of parts are you looking for?

We have a Catalina, 1998, model 338FLS, and it is a travel trailer.

When I looked, all I seen were 5th wheels with that name.
