I keep hearing about these great deals ya'll are getting here. I went to the site and I think it is more. But, I wonder am I figuring the price wrong. Am I suppose to check off the stuff I want in it? Because that is how I am doing it and it is adding $3000 or more to the price. thank so much. Traci

Yes, options cost more than base. Same at the dealers, but they already picked your options for you, unless you custom order like I did.

Just like when ordering a car, options add cost. RVwholesalers has got some pretty darn good pricing.

4k savings as equipt buying from our dealer (never haggled, listed price sold us) vs. RVwholsales, this price doesnt include the additional charge of getting the RV here or picking it up, nor the sales tax, than again this dealer was no BS and better then the las vegas dealers, (depending on what trailer you want), if they offer a better deal then your dealer why not save some cash?

I used rvwholesaler and rvsearch to find some good pricing, then took the info to my dealer and used that to get the best price from a dealer. I found a place in California that was running a sale on the particular model I wanted and the dealer beat that price by $500 and thru in the hitch and sway control.
I can still get the same camper and pay $1000 less at rvwholesaler than my dealer, less the hitch and sway control. I think they only had about $100 in all that.
It was my first TT and I didn't want to take the chance just yet. Maybe next time. Good luck.

You need to go to your local dealer and ask "how much" for the same model you are looking at.

...then you'll be back to rvwholesalers.com

Dont be afraid to mention RV wholesalers to the local dealers, while its tough to beat the RVW prices if they want to sell the unit they'll deal as they obviously have the room to move on price. They all know that when you search RVs on the net, RV wholesalers usually comes up towards the top of the results too.. I was looking at a rockwood 8283ss 5'er and was able to get the dealer to match RVW's price AND toss in a valley sliding hitch and Prodigy brake control installed at no extra charge... On the other hand I was at 2 other dealers that just walked away when I mentioned RVW.

Snownyet, what local dealer matched RV Wholesalers price? I am also in Western NY and would like to know this info for future purchases. I bought my current trailer (Rockwood 8318SS) from RV Wholesalers and didn't find any local dealers that even came close to the price. Which ones just walked away when you mentioned RVW? If you don't want to post the names here, then just send a private message.

Thanks
Steve

We thought about buying from them. Had a trailer to sell (no trade-in's). Also you need to consider whether you will have difficulty finding someone local to service it. Our local dealer told us that they only service what they sell.
