Sexy tool box step, my only main concern aside from the above mentioned side to side movement is when one goes to enter a gas station or other driveway and whether or not it would hit ground.

Number one: I'm glad you guys like the idea. I made it the night before leaving on a trip in my shop with materials on hand, finished and quick paint at midnight before leaving at 6 the next morning for bristol spring race.
Second: The box has side to side and up and down movement all of which I figured on and spaced it away from the camper accordingly. So far I don't have too many concerns about it but the previous post is a nice idea and I'm thinking of exploring an option similar to that.
Third: When the pictures were taken the front of the truck was on a little rise so the box looks lower than it really rides. I've had it on for about 5000 miles now and there is no evidence on the frame that it has ever drug, but I do think about it alittle and am carefully. I have been able to get in anywhere I have wanted.
Lastly: Thanks for the compliments and I hope that everybody who asked about it in a post a couple of months ago think it was worth the wait

racing,
Wow, that's really nice! You and the guy/gal from Montana (picture in last post) should go into business... Is that a Reece hitch extension that your toolbox attaches to? And how far does your camper overhang your bed?
