The following photos were provided by FF1063 of the modification he made to his Artic Fox dinette seat to gain more interior storage.

As soon as I get my 990 back from AF (the entire slideout floor is warped) I will definitely do this mod!

By the way, is the plywood on the floor covering up a hole of some sort?

Brad,

Thats a great idea. My Summerwind has the same seat storage except they chose to seperate the inner and outer storage with a divider wall. When I first saw your mod, I said, wow, he took the divider wall out. I'm I correct that yours did not have a divider wall and that your mod was the top access? Dern, now I have to decide if I want my divider wall.

That's how my dinette is set up. Each seat has a storage top and side cabinet door for access, but no exterior doors. I didnt want to overload the area with heavy items (dutch ovens, etc.) due to it being on the slide. Fortunately, my dutch's fit in the exterior compartments. Out.
