I have been looking for videos on Mexico road travel for a couple of years. Nada. This is a dream! The best travel program I have seen. No hype like all those infomercials on the Travel Channel. Just pure, beautiful Mexico with great visuals, music and narration. I hated for it to end. Put me down for Volume 2.

I agree, great production. Can you take some constructive criticisms?
When you enter a country and then travel from 1 town (site) to another, consider having a map show on the screen so we can see where you are talking about. I think it may be helpful since I didn't know and wasn't familiar with about 80% of the areas you traveled to in the first volume. I will have to get out a map while watching the DVD to see where things are and the distances involved.
Also, put your website address on the DVD packaging so when you show the DVD to your friends they can get the web site address quickly to order your products.

Derek - Thank you and yes, we agree with both your suggestions. We actually had begun creating map graphics with a little RV icon moving along the route and then we realized we were out of space on the DVD. A DVD can hold no more than two hours of video/audio without going to a higher compression scheme which degrades the quality. Our program comes in at 1:59:00 and we still had the menus to squeeze in. The only other option was to cut the program to accomodate the maps but we had already cut a lot of material we would love to have included. Our next program will be very rich in content and we expect to come up to the limit again. We will likely include a fold out map in the DVD box if we can't fit the maps into the program. We do include the highway names in the narration but it would help to watch the program with a map at your side.
We are adding the web site address to the packaging. That was an oversight. Thanks again to you and to the others here for buying the program and for providing good feedback.

Hi Kevin, how's the high resolution version coming? You would also have space on it for the map graphics. I'd definitely pay extra for that.

I just ordered five more copies as holiday presents to friends I want to caravan with. If anything will convince them this will.

We had friends over last night to watch the program. Everyone loved it!!! Some questions - how did you know about the Zihuatanejo hazards? That tip alone is worth the price of the video. And, the "confession" really surprised us. It also emboldened us. Hope you have time to "clue us in".

Add me to the list of fans. I have been planning on retiring in Mexico for several years. I recently thought about taking the time to tour the country as much as possible in an RV. I bought the DVD and have watched it several times. Each time noticing things I had missed on the previous viewings. My next wife (I hope) has been out of the country and returned this week. I showed her the video and she wants to know why we are still working.
I had orginally planned on doing all this at the end of next year and after the DVD my plans are have changed to the March-April time frame.
Thank you for making the DVD and showing us the real Mexico. I worked in Mexico 20 years ago and what you show is what I remember it was like.

Just received a copy a few days ago, this was a great documentary. It certainly encouraged us try to make this one of our trips. We still have to investigate all of the regulations of the certainly motivated us to get that done. We also have been going back and forth on what size 5th Wheel to purchase. 33,34,35. I can't believe we originally wanted a 40 footer. But it looks like shorter is better.
I like your introductory to pause the video and fix yourselves a Margarita before you start watching the video.
The two hours with very fast, and we will watching many times, someone's idea of the map is a good but an easy workaround. I think you could put this all paper and sell it as a download off of your website as a travel map and itinerary.
Can't wait to the next one.

A very big "thank you" to all of you who have taken the time to share your feelings about our program. It was a large undertaking and your enjoyment is the real payoff. As to "the confession", that was done in the spirit of full disclosure. If it gives you extra confidence that is a bonus for us.
We avoided the pitfalls entering the Zihuatanejo campground by not driving at night. The arch is deadly after dark, as are the crocodiles if you stumble onto them.
Yes, you should have a margarita or at least a Corona with the program. If you don't imbibe, a coke and lime works well, too.
