Was it possible you didn't have the mounting bolts tightened all the way? Did the Bodiak sag or did your mounting points bend?

I load mine up big time, and never had a problem with it bending. Maybe a bad batch? I love mine.

VERY clean install on the Dodge-looks great- Actually nice truck period.
IM curious on the blocking of fog lights-on the Fords, they are on either side of the License as seen on Horseplays pic-so it blocks them. (I used a hidden hitch and it doesnt block them, I had to remove fog lights.
On the Dodge the lights are outboard. Needsomefun says they dont block on 02 F350?? after market lights?
Im wanting to, down the road, use the Bodiak singles on the tow hooks, so I can convert my rack to a dual reciever because of the sway.Im using turnbuckles now to try to stop the sway. This is only becuase I haul a scooter.

My foglamps are original equipment. The hitch does not block the foglamps.

I am curious as to the sag jspringator reports. Was it caused by a failure in the hitch or the attachment to the tow hooks?

The bodiak hitch tends to "stick out" a little further than a permanently mounted hitch. this allows for increased air flow. I have not noticed any overheating problems, But once in very hot weather climbing a steep NFS road my A/C cycled a bit. Don't know if it had anything to do with the hitch.

I am very happy with this product AND the people who make and sell them. Their shipping charges are reasonable and they are trying to break into a niche market.

The tow hooks actually bent down. They aren't as stout as they look.

Anyone ever have issues with overheating due to lack of air flow? Thinking of getting one to put a cooler on. Looking at the aluminum ones with rod holders mostly for beach use.

Thanks,
