We went to the FMCA rally in 2002 and we seen a vender selling a foot board for your RV bed. After you make the bed it slid in under the mattress and held the blankets from sliding off the bed. I would like to get one but cant find the company or anything like it on line. Can anyone help point me in the right direction

We just bought one this year at the RV Show in Tampa FL. But I am afraid I do not have any of the info on it sorry. Did you do a google search? I do remember asking the man if they had a website, he said "no"... Good luck with finding. I really like ours..

Don't need a footboard, but did make a headboard for ours. We kept sliding the pillows up over the cabinet that was at our head, level with the bed. We just tucked a board in between the cabinet and the mattress.

For a footboard, I wonder if you could use one of those side boards for small children that goes under the mattress then stands up? Only instead of on the side, use it at the foot? There not as long as the bed is wide usually.

Jim,
Sorry I can't help with the foot board but have tried a couple of other methods that work well. One method is to add a couple of plastic snaps to mattress board and sheets/comforter. The other is to sew a couple of pieces of velcro to the sheets/comforter and glue/staple the other piece to the mattress board.

I got tired of having my mattress slide during travel, so used some fabric glue and glued a couple of large velcro pieces to the mattress and stapled the other to the mattress board. Works great. I placed the strips near the center of the mattress so I can still lift the edges for the fitted sheets.
