the parks info is Country Sunshine RV Park 3876 Cleveland Ave.
Castleberry, AL 36432.

I am trying to find a place to stay on our way to Atlanta from Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Any input is appreciated.

There are people who come into our lives for a season. Although the friendships, associations, bonds and commitments fade in time, the influences gained by these moments never expire. They continually help us grow into the men and women we should be.

Never heard of it, but that means nothing. A good overnight is at Knox Hill RV Park right near I-20 in the little town of Knoxville, AL. Very nice.

We overnighted at Country Sunshine last winter on our way to Florida. We were traveling on HWY 84 to avoid the hurricane damage further south. That is not a good route when pulling a 5'er, but I imagine you will be traveling I-65.

Country Sunshine is nothing more than an overnight rest stop. The access is easy from I-65 and they have full hookup, 50 amp sites with good water. They have a laundry facility. It is fine for overnighting, but certainly not a destination.

You might look at I-65 RV Campground in Creola, just north of Mobile on 65. We haven't stayed there, but rode thru last year. It looks like a good spot for overnight stop. We put it on our list for future trips. (http://www.i65rvcampground.com/)

Also, Windrift Campground in Shorter, just east of Montgomery on I-85. It may be too far up the road to Atlanta for you, but we have stayed there several times. It's a small campground with few amenities, but a good place to stop over and get into Atlanta early in the next day. All sites are pull through, clean and FREE laundry and restrooms. It even has a small lake. Easy off and on freeway. We liked it!

Actually, I saw it last week. I took an unusual turn to go from I-65 back to Pensacola and passed by it. It resembles a farmer's field more than anything - nothing else around it or even near it.

There were a couple of "long term" trailers parked there. I would stay in Greenville at Sherling Lake it that is a convenient time for you to stop. It's about 45 miles further up I-65.
