It's that time again...I'm kicking this one off early AGAIN this year so nobody can say they didn't have enough time to plan.
*** ROWDY AT SPOT-"X" IV ***

Arriving Wednesday October 24th
Departing Monday October 29th
(We'll all be home in plenty of time to pull off Halloween...so that excuse won't fly people.)
Last trip we had 50 something rigs, and it's gets bigger every year. There's plenty of room for twice that many rigs, but if want the choice spots plan on arriving by at LEAST Friday morning. FYI.
Spot "X"...entry is a sandy single lane desert road. Most everyone gets in/out without a problem, even the 2X4's and the big Class-A's. If you drive a little Honda or something, you might have an issue. Totally dry camping. Riding is a mix of rocky/sandy desert trails, and there a couple dunes. Paddles would be ill-advised however.
This is a family atmosphere. Large cozey camper circle. Group rides. Fireworks. Bon-fire. Mini-pools for the tykes. And of course the group potluck, followed by in-costume Trick-Or-Treating Saturday night. Please remember to bring candy for the kids. And if you put carved pumpkins in front of your rig, or go so far as to make a haunted house like last year...you are a cool-kat in my book.
However...those that are faint-of-heart may wish to avoid this trip. That would be any of the Class-A forum silvers who equate playing with Sobe bottles in the fire to the black death, gay marriage, pornography, the emergence of rock n roll, etc. You get the idea. If you don't like us, or what we do in the desert, stay home. And please don't bother to post in this thread.
I'm not trying to scare anyone off...just don't want anyone surprised. We party loud, we party late, and we party together. Like family. Because we are family.
So just to clarify...I just want people to understand that we're gonna play our music, and shoot our fireworks, and have cocktails around a big campfire, into the wee hours. That's all. Feel comfortable with your kids being there...I do.
Let's get the list of attendees started...
*PS* Bring firewood! LOTS of FIREWOOD
Here's a pic of our group from the '06 trip, give you an idea of the layout...

PS...there are no specific directions for a reason.

Ah-ha. should've picked up on that. I thought it was type-o.
Baker is probably 90 minutes West from Vegas while towing I guess...?
