...take this with a grain of salt...I'm a terrible predictor of long-term winter weather (i.e. I hate predicting winter events, but like predicting hurricanes ):

What we've had:

We've had record cold in January in Northeast (unlike my December prediction suggested);

We've had average February temperatures and slightly below normal snowfall.

What we may get:

Looks like temps in the high 30s to low 40s F after Wednesday this week for some of the Northeast; looks like 1 ~ 2 more good precipitation events up till March 15th (could be snow for some; rain & sleet for others; and pure rain possible for some, too).

April will be a quick melt May will be no snow, but no guarantee of much sun at all (possibly lots of spring rains right into May?)...

Anyhow, as I said: take my winter predictions with a grain of salt

Cheers,
Silver-

Anne,

When Joe's done, could you ask him to shovel our 2 inches of snow we got?

About 8-10 here, depending on the drifts. Used the snowblower and cleared a path to the TC. Actually to my trailer so I can pick up a load of wood, but the TC is right behind it. A little more shoveling and I'll be ready to load and go. Finally went skiing yesterday for the first time all year, and enjoyed some x-country with Liz today so I actually enjoyed it. Sorry all!!! Although I missed it all season, I am almost ready for the spring.

Hey Larry - All of us buried in the snow are going to be really glad to see each other. Did you get or decide on a new TC yet?

Now if the ground would just harden up a little so I do not tear up the lawn to put the TC on. :-)

We seem to be in a pocket where we don't get much snow. Get some snow at the onset of winter and a few suprise snow falls late in the season.
Having seen so many brands of campers makes a difficult choice. I'm not sure if I want to begin customizing another camper again. I suppose getting one loaded would eliminate that problem. Oh well we'll just keep-on window shopping.
