yeah it will be 250 pounds when full but with the weight of the 1100 pound buggy in the back it should be pretty well balanced. the wieght should be distributed 40% behind the centerline of the axles and 60% ahead. i havent had it on the road yet so we will see...
Hi there,
I just wanted share some pictures the way I set up a trailer. I'm still strugling how to finish the front. It's been a few years now and the light bulb didn't come on yet. Have a few more pictures by clicking on my profile and see them on the photobucket.

I have often thought about if I had a enclosed trailer I would put a full sized "nice" head/shower (bathroom) in the front. Big, just like home! So nice, that the neighbors would be begging to use it.

Zig,
Like your suggestion. There is a Work'n'Play toyhauler that has the kitchen and shower in the front. I wanted to get a trailer with a light enough tongue weight. With the truck camper on the truck I have to use a 4ft hitch extension. Even with a weight distributing hitch I'm limited to about 500 lbs tongue load. The trailer was intented to haul bikes, motorbikes, or ATVs. So to keep things simple I only got extra 4 batteries and a furnace. Well...I almost forgot to mention the fold up sofa and dinette...
Larry.
I used wire shelves supported by chains that I can drop down flat when not needed. A bad idea, they are not holding up over rough roads. When I get home I am going use plywood shelves hinged to the backboard. I will still use chains.
