It's time to get set for the 2009 Wisconsin Fall Rally!
WHEN AND WHERE
October 9 -11th at beautiful Indian Trails Campground in Pardeeville, WI.
A HUGE THANK YOU as always goes out to Myrna, Tiffany, & the staff at Indian Trails for once again being our awesome hosts!
The Totem Fields area is set aside for our group pretty much the same as last fall.
NEW THIS YEAR, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Site reservations are being handled differently than in past years. This year you need to contact Indian Trails for all site reservations. They are handling keeping our group together in the Totem Fields area and will reserve your site choice at the time you contact them 1st come 1st serve. Any and all site changes or cancellations after you have made your reservation are subject to availability and campground policy.
We have again reserved the Waterwheel Shed for the weekend if the weathers not cooperating for our group. For all who attended last year you will recall we had some wonderful warm / sunny weather and held the Saturday potluck outside last fall; so again if possible we’ll try to do a repeat of that, weather depending. Also we will again have Trick or Treating for the kids (and adults??) after the dinner. This went well last year and the more the merrier so bring your costumes.
Our camping rates for the 2009 fall rally are exampled below:
As in the past - If you stay 3 nights you’ll get the 4th night free!
Weekday rate (Monday –Thursday) will be $24.00 per night.
Weekend rate (Friday through Sunday) will be $31.00 per night.
Weekday rate (Water front site, Monday –Thursday) $29.00 per night.
Weekend rate (Waterfront site, Friday through Sunday) $36.00 per night.
(Rates subject to change)
*Dog owners note*. Indian Trails has a policy that charges $10 per dog per stay. It is refundable upon your departure.

An event schedule showing finalized event times will be in your welcome packet when you arrive Friday.
Event highlights: (Times shown may vary)
Friday night will be the wine /cheese tasting get together. This has been a popular event at the last several rallies. If you would like to bring a bottle of your favorite wine and/or some cheese to share with others please do so.
Saturday morning visit the local Amish bakery, stores, and craft makers. (This is a self guided journey as we will not have a tour guide this year; however there are maps at the campground office showing the local sites). Get started early to avoid the tourist lines.
Kids crafts at 10:30AM Saturday morning. Michelle (Uppercrust) & Laurie (Poppin-up-fun) will be heading up this fun kids activity this fall. This year we're doing tie-dye and it's open for all to participate. Kids & parents please bring a white shirt, socks, hats, handkerchiefs, underware or whatever you'd like to dip in the buckets of dye. Michelle is also again baking cookies for a cookie decorating event.
1:30 Pm Saturday scavenger hunt,
Saturday afternoon can be spent by Indian Trails lake, in the indoor pool, hiking the trails, socializing with fellow campers, or?
Saturday evening supper is currently scheduled for 4:30 PM as we have in the past. The raffle will be drawn immediately following the dinner. Two entrees will be provided, you will have the choice of hot beef sandwiches and / or hot ham sandwiches. We will mark your request on the back of your nametags so portions are correct and everyone gets what they ordered. Special thanks go out to Pat and Carey Merz for donating the ham & beef for the potluck again this fall, we all really appreciate this. In addition, each family is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to pass. If you are bringing a dessert we ask you hold onto it until the 8PM dessert feast. I’ll post what you’re bringing as I receive your pm’s to minimize duplicates, this way we have variety of side dishes and desserts.
7:30PM – 8:30PM Saturday will be the witching hour,, or shall I say trick or treat time. If you wish to hand out treats to the kids/adults please leave your rigs porch light on, light off means no ones home.
8:30PM Saturday is the feast of desserts. If you have a dessert to share please bring it to the main campfire area to pass and share.
Sunday 10AM is group picture time and the final raffle… To enter the raffle, please come to site # 72 and drop your nametags and tag holders into the drawing for a wonderful prize. At the spring rally a free weekend of camping was the prize! HOW COOL WAS THAT!

Oh, heck! I signed up for e-mail notifications telling me when CampIAm posts, and NOTHING, not a single stupid e-mail! Darn it!
Oh well. Glad we're all set with our site and things are moving along nicely. I think John and Julie (PRCA Cowboy) reserved their site, as well. I'll have to check with them.
Although I'm still waiting for summer and not anxious for October, it will be nice to see everyone in the fall!
Julie
PS, Aaron should be joining us for the fall rally! YEA!
