My husband got a phone call from a salesman at RV world in Nokomis. DH didn't know about my post and was very surprised to hear from them after almost two years. After hearing a little of the dismal story, he wanted to know how they could make it up to us, which was very nice. In retropect the whole thing was the total screwup and misleading by mainly our initial contact salesman who cleverly managed to be absent the day we arrived. Like the nails in the fence story, even if you pull out the nail, the hole is still there. However, hopefully our experience was not the norm, and others may have had good experiences with them. (Anymore said will have to be thru a PM) Anyway, it was nice of the new sales manager, Ron O'Donnell, to call.
We got our RT 200 at RV World of Lakeland. The salesman was the business manager. Nice guy but.... We dealt and traded in a towable Ford Focus. Got a great deal. The vehicle, though 9 years old, was and is in great shape. So far the service has been very good. I believe that both RV Worlds are owned by the same people. I guess there are good and bad no matter where you go.
