I just uncovered my 2005 Host Tahoe after a few months of storage. I live in Southern California where the temps get up to 115 easily. This is my 1st summer with the camper and I noticed the front of the roof on the cab over is warped or bubbled. I don't remember it being that way when I stored it. Please tell me that is the roof reacting to the heat or do I have problems?
"That is the roof reacting to the heat!"...well, you did say "Please"
But you still might have problems.....as mentioned, the heat probably caused the the skin to delaminate.
Good News / Bad News?
Bad News: This isn't the way it's supposed to be...and could be a problem if you have a vent or any other "thru roof" connections, which could eventually begin to leak, causing a slew of problems.
Good News: If you don't, or it's not near anything that might become a problem, you can probably leave as is, without much worry.
I might suggest that next year, you cover the roof, but allow for some air flow....maybe put a couple of basketballs or something up on the roof, as your cover may have "baked" the roof.
