Currently I have large eyebolts through my rear bumper to serve as rear tiedowns. The truck came like this. I've just put the tork lifts on the front and are very satisfied with them. The rear looks inadequate to secure my 10.5 Citation.
I have a factory receiver hitch and it has a 3" ID square cross member. I was thinking of getting some 3" square stock of length to go into the receiver cross piece on either side, long enough to clear the bed and welding a plate with drilled holes to attach the chain and turnbuckles. The insert would be held in place with a hitch pin of sorts.
The other alternative, torklifts for the rear, but if I can make something cheaper, I'm all for it.
Some pictures of homemade set ups would be helpful also.

I have a piece of 2 inch x 1/4 inch thick square tube welded under my receiver hitch with two tabs welded to the end of the frame. Before TC it held up a pipe rack that I have had hundreds of LB of pipe and lumber on. When I got the TC I drilled 1/2 holes and put eye bolts to hold the TC. Do not use the bent eyebolts. Use the cast eye bolts rated for 1500 LB I think. This set up is really overkill when you compare it to any system out there. Most other systems use 1 1/2 thin wall tubing. It is alot better then a bolt in the bumper. Try to install the tube so that you have as much angle to the TC tiedown as possible. PM for more details
My hitch has a 2 1/2 square cross tube. I have a 2x2 steel tube shoved through that. Pins hold it in place on either side. It has eye bolts on the ends and then the tie downs attach to the eye bolts.
That would work good. Weld the tube in place so it doesn't move around.
I made my own rear tiedown bar that I welded to the bumper mounting plates that bolt to the side of the frame. I did a write-up about it with pics. It's posted in the Truck Camper University section of the this forum under my screen name, called home-made rear tiedowns, or something like that.
If you want a factory built product Torquelift makes these for the Ford brand hitch and may do the same for other brands. This is what I have on the rear of our truck hitch. Works great!
