p.s. On the serious side. Has anyone tried to avoid "Made in China" items lately. Very hard to do on a retirement income.

What does income have to do with it? With virtually everthing coming from China, it's hard not to buy Chinese regarless of your income status. The only thing not made in China these days is food and pharmaceutical products, but I beleive thats about to change also very soon.

Actually quite a few of our drugs come out of China, remember the anti coagulant drug fiasco in the past year? There is concern that if the US ticks off China that will cut off the supply of many of our drugs needs here.

Lately they've identified that China is now putting other countries as the point of origin for manufacturing fake things. Now there is a debate going on about importing chickens from China. Just what we need, they poisoned our pets now let's work on the people.
