We are currently working at Lake in Wood Resort in Bowmansville. I think it would be a great place to stay for you. We will be working at the RV show. The resort is beautiful. Look it up in RV Park Reviews. We love it here.

Have stayed at Hershey Highmeadows. Great camp grounds clean and nice. There's a active railroad track that runs right next to the camp grounds. Can get a little loud at times. Especially at 2-3-4:00 AM. They might be booked up already because it is the closest campgrounds. There's a KOA out of town. Haven't heard to much good about the place on the forum. But it might work for a last resort. Thousand Trails you have to be a member of; which is rather costly. They say on the forum the Harrisburg East campgrounds is near a Interstate Highway; you get all kinds of road noise. Don't know much about any of the others.

High Meadow
Lickdale
Jonestown KOA
Twing Grove KOA
These would be the best of the closest.

We always stay at the Jonestown KOA when we go to the Hershey show. Some of the other campgrounds listed are pretty far, others like the Elizabethtown KOA requires a minimum 3 day stay for the show. That may not be an issue for you, though, since I believe you said that you were staying for a week. You can try Hershey Highmeadows Campground but my guess is that they're booked already. However, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

We stayed at Lickdale. But we where there for the show so I can't really tell you what the campground was like. I do remember that they had hand dipped ice cream in the store and it looked like a lot of people enjoyed that.

We have chosen Elizabethtown/Hershey KOA since the 3 night minimum does not apply to us, Anybody ever stayed here and have comments?

Assuming you are talking about 2009 show, I'd say you'll be lucky to find any site available at E-Town KOA, but who knows. We stayed there last year for the Hershey show and it's a very nice campground.

They had breakfast up in the rec hall for a couple dollars. Can't remember if it was served just Sat and Sun, or weekdays too.

And they guy that greeted us was a Ravens fan, so he was top notch in our book.
