I was a big advocate for the Fun Finder, however I am now excited about the Heartland Edge. If you haven't seen them , check them out at the Heartland site.

I was thinking about one of those also - very nice for traveling around without much bother. The main problem though for me is that they do not come standard with brakes and surge brakes are the only option. You cannot, as far as I know, get them with an electric brake option. That, for me, is a deal breaker.

I, more than likely, was the one that bought the "Casita" before you got there in August of 09.
I sold my 2 year old motorhome, and came back to Casita for the way it is made.
This is my third Casita, and I think that they are one of the best buys around.
I have already added a stall shower, counter space using the cover on the stove, high-lift axle, new tv antenna and had Casita fill the antenna holes. The other extra's that cost nearly nothing are too many to list.

I have an 718QB by ECO (Skamper/Dutchman), the 18' version of the 713FD by Zoom. My understanding is that they are made side-by-side in the factory with the only difference being the exterior. I have LOVED my ECO which I just purchased in June '09 and have been in full-time for 4-1/2 months and 14K miles. Love the quality: high quality interior, great battery/converter, tons of storage, etc. Love it! Love it! Love it! The 718QB has a Queen Bed (hence the QB) in the front, lots of windows/storage, dual axle, 2 20# propane tanks, less than 3000 lbs. I've been pulling it all over the country with a 2001 v6 Ford Explorer w/ 165K+ miles.
