I think I would post this here. Looking at a 10 foot truck camper that was put on a trailer and is now a pull behind. Pictures look good, is there any kind if problems with this set up? After all this type of camper was not meant to travel so low to the ground nor was it meant to have the drafts pushing against it as a tt does. Would that make a difference? I hope to go see it tomorrow if it is not gone before then.
Wonder if this link will work?

I did not see your pic, But I have seen a TC on a trailer in maine at south arm c/g it was a smaller unit and old as well towed by a ford with a new lance TC on it. The older unit I was told was for the three boys in the family. It appeared to be a sturdy setup with the space under the front overhang used for all kinds of camping equipment. I must say I was Impressed.

I'd be more concerned about the overall workmanship of the rig, and the reason for putting it on a trailer to begin with than I would about its height off the ground while being towed and the wind pushing against it.

That sure looks like a lot of work for something that has already been invented. Why not buy a used travel trailer built as a travel trailer and put that effort into making a better travel trailer? The camper would have probably sold easier as a camper but not for $500 which seems to be asking too much for something I wouldn't take for free.

Several years ago, I saw locally a commercial trailer apparently designed just for hauling a TC; 'looked pretty neat.

Aren't TCs shipped from the factory to dealers on flatbed trailers? If they are built to survive that, they are built to survive this...
Hauling a TC around on a flatbed is technically feasible, and quite obviously has been done at least once.
That one looks kinda hokey, though... I'm not sure I'd want to be seen wheeling into a campground with it. Maybe as a hunting cabin on private land...

In that area, someone will buy it and haul it out into the woods as a hunting shack. Quite possibly, someone without a truck. As $500 hunting shacks go, it isn't too bad.
