Hello everyone,i am looking for different ideas about how everyone is tying down thier quads in the garage. Currently i only have d rings at the front of the garage. I am going to be hauling 4 full size quads side by side.(i have a 14 foot garage) Let me know what type of system you are using and if you like it. Thanks Bo

Another user of the e track in my Raptor. Ran two strips under each bike...you can barely see them in the picture. Then added two smaller pieces on the angled section by the door. Depending on how many/what combination of bikes I carry I can just move the e track straps and hook my tie downs to them. Little tougher when I pack all four, but a cinch when hauling two.

Nice setup Badhabt. But, wouldn't you feel a bit safer with a longer piece of E track by the door to get more screws or bolts thru the floor?
In a panic stop, those short pieces will take most of the strain. Hate to see them let go.
Just trying to help.

Tying down quads?????? I generally don't do it, but sometimes one on the back to keep it from sliding forward, I usually find it with no tension on in when I unpack.

Who needs tie downs? You can always do like a friend of mine and load the trailer to the gills with cardboard and blankets stuck between all the quads, gear and trailer walls. When he gets there and unloads, it looks like a homeless camp. When he leaves, I'm still cinching and strapping to the extra D rings I've installed in all the appropriate places.

Question for the e-track users; for those of you who have e-track without a separate garage, how flat and smooth is it when your carpet is rolled back out on top of the e-track?

I have never tied mine down and not one problem in over 9 years of hauling them. The two up front sit sideways and then I run 2 side by side in the rear.

I usually have enough stuff in the garage so I do not tie them down either if they have a good parking brake on them. If I do tie them down I use the e-track and just put one on the back to keep it from rolling forward.

Uh, no. The tie downs really there to keep the bikes from walking around down rough roads. I dont think theres anywhere the quad will go if it did come loose. I dont use those unless I'm hauling 4 quads...and it would take more than a panic stop to exert that much force to yank that baby out. Thanks for your concern though
