Kind of hard to tell. Do these figures include the "economic refugees" of the current crisis? There have been news reports about campgrounds that are just full of these unfortunate folks, and they often stay at deeply reduced rates.

Sure that was per night or hourly?
LOL!
Wagonmaster, if you like hotel rates so much, stay in a hotel and enjoy the view from there.
This is a capitalistic system, the market drives the price like it does everything else. Look around, there are places where they get over $100.00 a day and they are nearly full during the season.

Well, some of the "idiots" you mention actually managed to work hard, plan, save and are enjoying CG's and RV Parks instead of parking lots and hotel rooms. Obviously it's worth it to them or they wouldn't be paying for it.
You can't take it with you and I for one don't plan on sitting on it.
RVUSA, If you are going to quote me (from 10 months ago)...at least do it correctly. This is the post.

It does seem like Florida is really overpriced lately. You would think it would be the opposite with the economy the way it is right now.

The economy IS hurting, but the rv parks in Southern Florida are doing well. They will get what the market allows. It's very difficult right now to get a space at a decent park in South Florida. They are booked solid.
