Used to say that. Yesterday I was on I-4 East between Tampa and Orlando driving my usual 63 mph (limit=70).Was passed by dp with towd obviously driving much faster. About 5 miles further I passed the dp as he was parked on the side of the road with a state trooper behind with lights flashing. Don't know if he had been caught speeding but if it walks like a duck.

Slow Poke IL. and CA. are the only 2 I can remember going through that limit RV's to 55 MPH.

Not true, in CA if you aren't towing you have the same speed limit as a car.

On RV.net it seems like most posters here do not break the speed limit and do not go over 65 mph. On the road, it seems like most RVs do drive over 65 mph. On that note...

My father in law got pulled over in WA, his excuse was that he was going with the flow, the officer responded, we have to stop someone, you need to pay attention to the posted speed, not the 'flow'

On the interstate highways that are two or more lanes, I set my cruse at 55 and keep in the right lane; I have had the same cars and trucks pass me two; three; or more times. just like the turtle and the rabbit. and I get there more relaxed.

I drive 55 to 60 keeping pace with the trucks. I use the cruise, and if a truck is slow or not consistent, then I will pass. Some will say, who cares about milage, the money isn't an object. Then I say "see ya later", as I go past him on the highway, and he's in the fuel station because he's used his up trying to "get there"!

The range differance for me is dramatic going 55 instead of 75. Besides, I'm more relaxed and ready for an emergency at 55 than 75. So why go so fast?!!!

I do the truck limit or even slower regardless of whether I am towing or not. The rv is just too big to pretend it can stop as fast as a car.

Always the slowest speed limit with my rig. Too easy to get into trouble fast by using the higher speed limit.

I drive @ a speed that I feel safe going, but generally cruise is @62 unless the truck limit is lower .Very rarely over 65,Never over 70 towing or not and we tow a heavy 4X4 98% of the time...I went on a 250 mile ride in a truck this past weekend and we were passed by a DP on 95N that had to be going at least 80-85 Ridiculous IMHO
