I work out of state and would like to see my kids each night on our web cams. My wife and I each have a Yahoo accounts so we use their IM service with our webcams. A nightmare is an understatement. Sometimes I can see them but they can't see me of vice versa. Often the screen freezes or it will say I"m "publishing" my webcam but she will tell me I"m off line.
We would like to use a different service for this, even a paid service wouldn't be out of the question if it worked well. Can someone suggest which way I can go, I have no clue where to even start. Thanks, Wes

I have not tried it, but Skype may just be what you are looking for. Worth a try.

I use Skype all the time to talk to my mom and dad, its free and works great. give it a try.

Another vote for Skype !!!! We talk to my in-laws every other day from PA to Fla...the kids love talking to their grand parents on skype, they see who can make more funny faces ,them or Grand Pop 
note: Pop always wins !
