It all depends on what you like? I like my Raptor 3612 and it works well for my family. The seperate garage was a big selling factor for us. It has had no problems that I couldn't take care of myself. Again it all depends on what you like and how you are going to use it?

I have a DP and use to tow a toy hauler. Not a bad way to go if I must say but I sold the TH due to the economy. I liked the extra water in the TH and used it as a bunk house for guests and a wreck room for the kids. They could go play legos or video games with their riding gear still on, we won't allow that in the DP. Right now I have an open utility trailer for all the toys and gear but I fear a rain storm coming in the middle of the night soaking all the gear. Eventually I will get an enclosed trailer of another TH again, it is a great way to fly.
My dream is to haul a toy hauler stacker with a car on the bottom and the toys up top with a full bathroom and a couple of pull down couches loaded with every tool I may never need pulled by a DP with a big engine. One can alway dream, right!
Our Victory Lane now has about 16000 miles. No issues. I like the separate garage, the loft, the tv over the door, the floor plan. Would have preferred the bathroom to have been all in one.

We've got a lot of miles on our Raptor 3712TS - DW really likes the kitchen layout - keeps the grandkids at bay. Middle son has a new Recon from Jayco that they really like, but it's heavy and he tows it with an '08 F-450 dually.
Guess if I were you I'd be hitting the fall and spring RV shows to see what's out there. The big decision is 5er or Class A - your comfort level driving/towing probably needs to be the first consideration.
Good luck, let is know what you decide.

One thing to think about in choosing which class toy hauler to buy is to decide which one you would rather have after it's three to six years old. With the fifth wheels you don't have an engine wearing out and you don't have as large an investment in it should something happen to cause you to need to off load it quickly.
A Blue Bird Wanderlodge and a TH with just a few more goodies than my current Ragen. Jayco and Keystone TH seem to do well.
For me it's where I would want to go. Even if money was not an issue I could not get a big DP were I like to go. In a perfect world: A big DP for bike rallies and such and a 30-34 FW TH for off road adventures.
KZ has suspended production of the Escalade and the Montego Bay. You won't go wrong with either of those models. We love ours and you will find a lot of other satisfied folks here.
