Any information on a Fame RV would be helpful. The unit I am looking at is 1995, 40 foot, 3 axle 5th wheel. It seems to be in great shape and has spent most of it's life set up in a Florida park and used as a winter get away. I would continue to use it just as it is. Everything works and it needs nothing. I know little of Fame and don't think they are built at this time. I believe it is a 4 season rig. I don't know what to offer. Can anyone tell me anything about this RV or the company.

You'll get more responses if you post this in the 5th wheel forum instead of the class A forum.

NADA lists "Fame" as a brand of RV, but shows none. They are shown as a brand on a couple of links to no where, so they must have been a small start up RV company, maybe a local Florida manufacturer that produced an insignificant number of trailers.

The guy that has it for sale said he thinks it was made by a mobil home builder in Pennsylvania that built only special orders. This unit has no holding tanks and the bathroom is just like in a home. It seems to look more like a house build than trailer build. Even if I find no information about Fame I may buy because of what I see.

Thanks to all who read my post

Fame was custom built at a company in meadville,pa. I had one made that hauled my harley in a room in the rear before toy haulers were around ,1994 or so.they made park models also for a long time, now sell big horn rv.
