WOW, you guys are good, really didn't think anyone else would be having this goofy problem.
The gen. start-up works just fine, then I shut everything down and tried to start it and kicked the inverter. Tomorrow I'll get in there and reset the inverter and try the "start the inverter and then plug in the TV" method.
I looked up your TV and it looks like it's an older model "flat tube" TV. Since it's kicking the other inverter too...I think that is where you issue is. Your TV is just too inefficient to work off of the inverter.
As a last resort, go to Best Buy and get a new flat screen. They are only a couple of hundred bucks. When I upgraded the front and rear TVs to HDTVs last year, I went to BB with one of those plug in load checkers and went up and down the line unplugging the display TVs, hooking them up to the load checker and then restarting them. It drove the guys crazy but I was able to create a fantastic data base for my installation.
If you have an entertainment center in your Seneca, a 32" will fit perfectly left to right. You just need to fill in the bottom with a small sliver of wood paneling to fill in the gap. You can see it in the posted picture if I tell you about it. Otherwise, it just looks like it's supposed to be there. It has a 130 watt load when running and 250 on start up.
a 27" has about 100 watts of running load. The smaller you go...the less the load (duh). The only kink is having to make a vertical mount to attach the TV to. I had someone do it (I'm terrible with that kind of stuff and a year later it's still going great.
