Welcome to the lite side, it's less filling with fewer calories and yet tastes just the same, ok, tastes better! Looking forward to seeing what you buy and your first trip report in it.
Congratulations DJ. Of course, you are still required to give other posters your opinion on S&S. You, like me found the S&S we owned no longer fit our needs (I needed bigger, you needed smaller) but in no way is that a knock on S&S. I hope you continue to provide feedback on them - and now people may even listen since you have an opinion but it is not biased to justify current ownership!
I bet next time you drive by S&S in Kalispell (if you ever do) you'll be a little sad to no longer be in that family. I know I was.....I know all things must pass - but I hope S&S hangs on and makes it through this economic downturn.
PS: I expect to see you posting pics of getting the new little rig into tighter and tighter spots. Good luck with the grocery getter - but you might have to split up your loads of beer from the store - it might exceed the GVWR if you get a few cases.
If the last truck and camper were paid for, I think I have to vote in the "You're nuts" category.

Gee, and we just hauled our hardly ever used 11 1/2' Lance out of mothballs a month and a half ago to replace our 9 1/2' 915 model that had traveled over 140,000 miles and been to Alaska and every state repeatedly plus all but 3 Canadian Provinces that have roads.
In fact, the second person who looked at our 915 last week which had been for sale only 2 days went home and came back with cash (many thousands) while the first looker had said he was going to the bank to get the money the next day but didn't want to give me money to hold it. He said he wanted it but as he didn't give me a retainer to hold the camper, it was still for sale and sell it did within 1 1/2 hours. Cash in hand talks and I'm not hard of hearing!!! It's so true that if you snooze, you lose! I thought we'd had placed a high price on it because if it didn't sell this fall, it sure would in the Spring for more and quick. It went for my asking price. First looker wasn't happy but TS!
Now I have to update our signature....
