I put three gallons of RV anti-freeze into my water tank with the
intention of turning on the pump and drawing anti freeze up to
the faucet and to the outside shower line, but the only place
that the anti-freeze is going is to the hot water tank, its coming
out because I have the anode removed. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Have you ever winterized before? There should be a series of valves and pipes near the water heater that you can rearrange such that flows bypass the water heater. Then you don't need 6 gallons of antifreeze to fill the HW tank first before any gets to the sink/shower.
But it may not have been factory installed. If the camper was always stored indoors heated or in a warm climate, you may need to install the bypass.
You should also install the water heater bypass kit. If you don't then you will have to fill the hot water tank to get antifreeze in the hot water lines. That means wasting 6 gallons of antifreeze plus it is damaging to the anode.
