{edit} Is this the freshwater tank or the holding tank?
Gray water.
It is black plastic. Is that ABS or polyethylene?
The last post made me think of using JB Weld that I have periodically had excellent luck with. The tank may flex a bit as it fills so maybe the eternabond that stays flexible would be better.
I need to toss this around for a few days.
Thanks for the ideas. Anything seems better than a dealer installing a new tank.
I'd love to witness Eternmabond sealing a PE tank, but they (the marketeers) say it works. If it's a black waste water tank, then you're dealing with ABS or possibly even fiberglass ( but not PE). If its fiberglass, you're in luck - any boat/marine shop can fix it pronto.
I am hoping for the best. It did seem to adhere to the tank well and added some rigidity. The tank does flex some as it fills so the test will be when we are out next over the turkey weekend.
