I've had that problem on everything plastic on the outside. Fridge vent cover, door holder, outside light, etc. Here's something that works well and is cheap. The best way is to remove the item from the motorhome. It makes for a clean job that will look good. I usually wipe it down with lacquer thinner to remove anything on it. It will also remove some of the "yellow" too, but don't leave the thinner on it too long. I then spray it with Krylon paint made for plastic. You can find this in any hardware store or WalMart. Make sure it's the one for plastic or it will not adhere properly. Usually two or three coats completely renews the appearance. Let it dry several hours or more. Reinstall.

If the item is too hard to remove, use masking tape around it. Make sure there is plenty all the way around or you will end up painting your motorhome wall too. This method has held up well for me.

Krylon Fusion is your best bet outside of replacing. The paint holds up very well.

Awesome from the local Dollar Store and bleach. I usually use it once a year in the spring and the white trim and plastic stuff (like the 110v outlet cover) stay white all season.

Another vote for Oil Eater. I get it at my local CostCo store.
