My TorkLifts didn't require any drilling when installed....if that's what you're referring to?

No, I was talking about having to drill a hole or holes for the HappiJacks. I also have Torklift on my truck and think they are a great product.........

I've never owned a truck in my life that the bed didn't look like swiss cheese by the time I was done with it. All my trucks get used as real trucks and get all sorts of stuff mounted on them for whatever purpose I need. Drilling holes and welding on my trucks is just par for the course for me.

Although I don't care for any product Happijac has ever made, I'd think with a light camper on a light truck it would be just fine. Plus have the added benefit of having nothing extra low on the truck to get in the way of your offroad excursions.

I use torqlift fronts and the bumper buttons on the rear for my Apex 8 on a Dodge 2500. The rear bumper is aftermarket and is easily up to the task. Occasionally I have to bend the tabs that attach the fastguns to the buttons. They seem to bend easily and become hard to remove/reinstall.

Make sure you get the HJ bumper reinforcing brackets if you go that way.

I started with HJ and ended with TorqueLifts, which I wish I'd bought in the first place. My vote is for the latter. (and I wish I hadn't drilled those holes for the HJ's).

Ditto. They cost about $25 and only take 30 minutes to install with simple tools.

I've been using HJ front & rear tiedowns for 14 years and never had the first problem with them.

After many years of 4 wheelin I have found that anytime pipes come straight off the back you will back into a bank or rock and either fill them up with dirt or bend at which time you will have to replace them. Also if you get into water and you have a hiccup water will more likely get into your mufflers quicker.
