I want to install a toggle switch to turn off my ignition instead of pulling the fuse.

I'm asking for advice on various options to help with this installaion.

Thanks

I think I found the answer to my own question with this. But if anyone has a better idea please pass it on.

don't forget to call the Saturn 800 line, especially if you are still under warranty. Don't want you messing it up.

I still can't believe the Saturn brand won't be around anymore. We are driving our 7th a 2008 Outlook.

I bought the parts at our local NAPA store, took about 15 mins to install it and it works fine.

I made my own ignition cut off switches for our 2002 Saturn SC2 and 2007 ION. The parts are readily available at Radio Shack and consist of a 12v-30amp two way rocker switch, an inline fuse holder, a 40amp fuse, male & female plug in type quick connectors, heat shrink tubing, one vinyl o-ring washer, plus some 10ga. wire.

I have photographs of the set-up but do not know how to post them on this site. If you send me your email address I can send the photographs to you in an MS Word file document.
