After coming back from a weekend trip last weekend, I stopped by a local CG that allows free dumping. So I pull up next to the dump station, set up the stinky slinky, and open up the black tank. It flows for a little bit, then makes a funny noise. I look over at the hole in the ground and it starts to gurgle, then it overflows into the concrete 'trough' surrounding the hole. No, the hose didn't come out, but the sewage system was obviously backed up.

So what would you do???

P.S. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Notify the campground that they need to have someone fix their dump station would be my response. The next thing I'd do is find someplace else to dump.

That's happened to me a couple of times which taught me to open that valve just a smidge until it starts to run freely then let 'er rip.

It is obviously plugged, so the management needs to be notified… the last thing I would do is just leave, which was most likely the last guys response…

This is what happens if you don't wash your hands when you finish removing that clog.
