In previous releases of Firefox I used to click and drag a tab icon to the Mac Mail icon and a new mail message would open with that site's link in the text. In this release, this works once in awhile but usually not. Instead, it looks like I'm dragging a very small replica of the page itself and nothing happens when I drop it on the Mail icon. I checked Firefox discussion groups and posted a couple of times but no luck. Anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Don't drag the tab icon, drag the address bar icon.. It works in the latest version of firefox.

Not sure what you mean. The only icon I see is the "bookmark this page" star that the arrow is pointing to below. What am I missing? Thanks.

Your theme is probably the problem.. It looks like you installed Chromifox, which is still a pending version. Go back to the default theme and that should correct it.

When you start changing things that are not programmed by the people at Firefox you're bound to get problems. Try removing adds ons until it corrects itself.

Remember add ons are only as good as the person that programmed it and sometimes that's a 14 year old kid.

Rather than removing or disabling the add-ons, just run Firefox in safe mode.

At the Start/Run enter:

Firefox -safe-mode

This will start firefox with the default theme and no customization.

Ha! That did the trick. Thanks. I had forgotten that I had installed that theme. No need to use the safe mode but thanks for the tip, witt. Back in business!
