How is the road for condition, amount of commerical traffic and ease of driving.
Plus, is it better to take 62 across to Palm Springs, rather than 95 all way down and then 10 to Palm.
We go Needles, vidal, desert center. I don't care for the Needes/vidal road much.. lots of trucks. Yesterday went I-15, I-215, I-10. A bit longer, all fwy (faster) but way more traffic and some of that is really rough concrete. 62 should be fine.
Hwy 62 is a shorter way, but it a crappy narrow two lane road that is out in the middle of nowhere, with no services between Vidal and Desert Center. If you have any trouble, you are on your own.
