Another vote for Oxygenics!! One question, though, for those who have one...have you found a cut off switch that completely cuts off the water flow during shower? We tried finding one at Lowe's and they said that they did not sell them anymore. Thanks. That is my only complaint, that you can't completely cut the water flow off while taking a shower.

Go for the Oxygenics, it's great even in low pressure.

MALLARD; I also have an Oxygenics shower head but with our 2009 silver back 5er I kept the shower head that came with it as the pressure is satisfactory for the DW and myself, when using the water pump in the trailer. I did remove the retarder tho'. How's the pressure in your kitchen and bathroom taps? What happens when you take the head off and let the water run without the shower head on? If it's good then I think I would get another shower head. Oh yes thanks for the nice words.

For the person wanting the water to be completely shut off while showering. I believe they are made that way so you don't get just cold water when you turn the water back on. We dry camp most of the time and use the navy shower program. Get wet, lather up, rinse off in two minutes.....most of the time

Firstly, thanks to all for your help, this forum is absolutly neccassary to rv'ng in my opininion. Yesterday i called Forest River and was told to simply drill a bigger hole in the retarter which will increase the flow to the shower-head also the rubber flapper in the faucet where the hose is attatched is there so when the shower isn't used for any length of time the water in the hose doesn't develop algae. I'd like to mention how helpful and prompt Forest River has proven to be so far,we love our rig and without a doubt our next fiver' will be a Cedar Creek!!

Pipeman,You guy's are the ones running into a burning building when we're ruuning out,,,ya' gotta appreciate gut's like that!!!

I replaced mine with th Oxygenics and it works great. My originals I had removed the flow restrictors, both indoor and out door showers they worked just fine but used a lot of water. I keep a new shower head and hose (not Oxygenics) just in case in the FW. The Oxygenics is by far the best. For a complete shut off ACE hardware and others sell small plastic ball valves these are usually found in the plumbing supplies, not where the showers are necessarly.
