I-95 S, just south of the DC Beltway, in northern Virginia. The traffic is awful!

Actually it is much better than it use to be! But it why we usually take US 219 south to I-80 to get out of NYS.

I'm going to vote with Willie D. Any road way in Louisiana is like driving over the old timie washboards. If you want to find out if you have a good solid motorhone just drive through that state. I go around Louisiana when I go east. I will Never go through that state again.

It would be much easier to vote for the best roads because those are very few and far between. It is depressing to see the conditions of even most interstates. It's obvious that our politicians are spending too much time on private jets and not enough time on the roads!

Actual highways come in many shapes and sizes, but add the traffic into the equation and everything can change on the highway. For some years heading to Mexico and the State of Colima from the Vancouver, B.C. area would take eleven days driving, but our worst day was always the morning we had the headache of getting through Seattle. Sorry, Seattle, that hour and a half of being surrounded by traffic often going at breakneck speed, was always the intro to a long journey. With a motorhome one takes up too much space!

If you are towing, I-5 from LA to Woodland. If you can drive in the #1 lane not too bad. Brother says in his F150 it's a good ride and I must be nuts, but he doesn't carry 90 to 100 psi in his tires and his vehicle isn't 15KGVWR,

I was never so happy to return to Florida as I was this past summer. I-95 seamed silky smooth to me after having experienced all the Northern state's well worn, ice heaved and rutted highways. Particularly, heading south on the NJT from NYC and also east bound on I40 from Asheville, NC to Greensboro, NC.

In fact, the conditions of the roads is what prompted me to get a Kelderman system installed.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing! The thread though would be really short, and this is WAY more entertaining to read. I would agree that California highways generally are pretty bad - for ANY kind of vehicle.
