I've owned plenty of GM products that I poured my hard earned dollars on....
I know the quality difference.
We have both Ford's and Chevy's at work,
AGAIN, I know the quality difference.
So you know quality out of say 10-20 vehicles you've been around on both sides you can 100% be certain that ford is far superior than anything on the road. Forget the fact that there millions upon millions of each brand on the road, your opinion is the gospel.
Lots of sarcasm in this post.

now I know in my heart that our government made the wrong choice in saving that sorry assed excuse of a company.....
maybe if they had actually built a decent product all along, they never would have needed to be bailed out.
sorry for the wakeup call, but some things aren't worth saving, GM was one such thing.
Dodge on the other hand had a first class commercial with Clint.
gm = ZERO class.
Dodge = winner in the commercial bracket at the Super Bowl.
GM has already paid back the bail out money. So that ad had none of your tax money funding it.
I like both commercials but will stick with my Chevy's. Currently own 3 and love all of them. I think that their new management team is doing a great job.
So, Do you REALLY think.....They paid ALL that money back.....in such a short time (couple years) after being on the verge of Bankruptcy????????????????????
What color is the sky where you live????
If they were able to "Produce" that kind of cash,(in such a short time) then they never would have needed it in the first place.

The sky here is a nice rosy pink color. What color is the sky where you live?
I know minimum wage people with no debt and very wealthy people with a lot of debt. All depends on how you manage your money. Ever listen to Dave Ramsey.
Anyway GM wasn't the only company that was bailed out at that time and they also didn't just take the money and give themselves bonuses.
But all this doesn't matter anyways because it doesn't affect me directly. Right now I am happy with the vehicle I drive and hope you are happy with yours.

Once again, GM did not pay back all thier loans. The bailout or tarp was a screw in for thier bond holders. They claim in the commercial if you all recall, that they paid it back like 3 years sooner or whatever it was. But what they did is get a second loan to restructure. Fiat paid I believe some of chryslers loan and in fact have been paid back far as I know.

My brother in law had on of those step sides. Olive green. Straight 6 with 3 on the tree. Bought is used. Had it for 10 years. Him, my sister and the kids drove from SF to here twice a year for those ten years without a problem. Daily driver for both of them as well during the same time.
