Yeah, I noticed it before I bought it. Actually, I noticed the insidenofvthe tire was near bald. I just assumed the worst, and figured I would be replacing the axle. Got it home, and had my buddy who is a Cat mechanic look at it, and he noticed the bent axle right off. I myself could not see it until he pointed it out. I think I am just going to replace it. The RV shop said they would measure it up for me, and have one built for around 180-200$. For the cost, I would just feel better doing that. My buddy will do it for me. He works for BBQ and homebrew. Beings how I have beer on tap at all times, labor will basically cost me a chicken. Rack of ribs at the high end.
I have an app to take it to the RV shop next Monday to get it measured, and have my free spring inspection done. They said it will take about 4 weeks to get the axle built. In the meantime, I have to make a 50 mile round trip with it, to spend a week on a volunteer project. I am going to take the tire to the tire shop, and see if they will flip the tire around, and put the wear to the outside, so as not to ruin my spare also.
