I have a new Lance that has this and I was told by Lance and Dicor it's normal
Mine goes along front from side to side in an area of about 8 inches deep. The rest of the roof is layed down flat.

I began seeing this last year alond edges and was told by my service guy it is common. How can TPO roofing be better than aluminum? It is not. All about ease and cost of manufacturing in my opinion.

It seems to me that if it is a 2012 and under warranty take it back to the dealer and tell him you want it fixed. How can the TPO lifting be normal and if it is normal who would want that? My Lance has the aluminum roof and I'm pretty satisfied with it. If the lifting seems excessive, take pictures and send the to Lance. The Lance factory has been pretty responsive when ever I have had questions
Good luck and we'd all like to know how you make out. Don't be a pushover for them.
Regards
Bob

I had an Aluminum 1 pc on my last Lance. It held up well.

I did send pictures to Dealer,Lance,Dicor. All said this is normal and refuse to do anything. Others are posting Lifted TPO's at the Lance forum. Lance of America Fourm Post Here.

I hope this link works for anyone interested in the pictures and story.

We have a TPO , it is not on a Lance, but the sheet is glued down flat, no bubbles, if you have bubbles all over the place I would think you are more subject to tearing from overhanging branches etc., should you encounter any on back roads.

We too, have a TPO roof and just noticed a few ripples on our new Adventurer. Haven't asked anyone about it yet. No sign of moisture and it's sealed well. The rest of the roof is very taut and flat.

Just because it's "normal" doesn't make it right. If it's glued down at the factory, then it should be glued down for the life of the camper. Any lifting and bubbling would be cause for alarm from me.

Saw a 5er going down the road with a huge bubble in it's TPO roof...
The Roof was higher in the front of the rig so where the slope was the TPO was totally disconnected from the under layment (wood).
The guy was pulling off the freeway so we followed him and told him...We climbed on top of his roof and the TOP was loose in that area. Oh was he pissed!
