hey folks there are over one million RV's in Florida for the winter. we all have to head north soon! We leave 4/22

I filled at the FJ when I arrived in FL at the beginning of the snowbird season, that should get me 800 miles towards NJ before hitting the pumps again. I like sitting with a full tank.

That Flying J (I-75 Exit 285 & SR52) is pretty tight even without a crowd. Several times I've opted for other stations rather than fighting the traffic at that spot.

The Flying J on I-81 at the Virginia / West Virgina state line was jam packed with RV's on friday evening. In all my years passing this Flying J, I have never seen it this packed.

probably buying three or times as much fuel as a four wheeler

Unless things have changed, part of the problem is the hoo-hah you have to go through to get the discount using the flying J / Pilot RVing card. Last time I checked you have to go line up in the store before fueling, get the card swiped, get your credit card swiped, pump you fuel, then go back inside to sign the credit card slip and get your receipt. If the card reader on the pump recognized the RV discount card, and you could get more than $75 (or whatever) on the credit card, it would save a lot of time and the RVs would be gone from the pump a lot faster.

I'm a law enforcement officer here in FL. As a part of my patrol duties I like to ease through the RV parks in my area. The places I went through this past weekend were like ghost towns compared to what they were just a week or two ago, and I saw many more making final preparations for travel. Talk about a mass exodus!!

Last 2 Flying J's , I swiped loyalty card at pump(truck islands), filled up went inside and paid and left.
