I'm in the planning stages for a fall trip to Florida. Does anyone know if there is enough room to park a motorhome with a car hauler trailer in the lots at KSC. Length will be about 63 feet total and will only be while visiting KSC on a morning tour on a Monday. This will be a travel/moving day for us, so will be checking out of the RV park we would be in on previous night. We've been to JSC in Houston and there was plenty of room due to large mostly vacant lots away from the entrance. What about security for vehicle entry at KSC? Went to White Sands Missile Range last year and would have required full MH search including engine and basement storages. Just did a walk-in visit instead. But that is a military base.

Any info about KSC parking would be appreciated. Thanks

Hugh parking lots there. Depending on time of year you should have no problems. Well worth a day.

We were just there a couple weeks ago, there was plenty of parking areas big enough for your rig. We took the up-close tour and really enjoyed it. It is a full day though, but well worth it if you have the time.

I believe security will be a problem. Best to leave MH in Titusville or Cape Canaveral City and drive the toad in.

Check this out.

Plenty of room for parking even the biggest rig. And there was no charge for parking.

There is a lot to try and see in one morning. If you have more time you would enjoy it.

We had no problem with MH and toad even during the 4 shuttle launches we went to.

Thanks to everyone for the input. Based on the responses, I think I'll plan on taking the rig in since I won't have any place else to leave it and it seems parking won't be an issue. At JSC the vehicle entrance inspection appeared fairly cursory. I wish we had more time but I would imagine the inside displays will be somewhat redundant to JSC which we've visited several times over the years. We are on the Up Close tour and are hoping that they will still be decomissioning one of the shuttles at the vehicle assembly building. Again thanks y'all for the input.
