I’m afraid I agree with all the other post, you’ll need a bigger truck.
We moved from a Class A to a fiver 5 years ago. We first bought the trailer and than ordered the truck after talking to the truck dealers on what was best for the trailer we were getting. We bought a ¾ ton, now I wish we had gotten the one ton.

If you learn one thing from this forum, it should be to NEVER believe "we were told". I know you've already purchased but you should do research FIRST. You can probably look up your truck's specs as well as I can but I'm guessing any half-ton truck hauling a 5th wheel will be marginal.
Oh yeah - 5ers almost always weigh more than the manufacturers claim.

Go with at least a 250/2500. If you think you might upgrade 5ers in a few years, get a 350/3500. Then you don't have to upgrade the truck at the same time as the 5er.

I agree, cancel your order and get a 3/4 ton gas or diesel. That's too much for a 1/2 ton.

You need a bigger truck!
You will not be happy towing with the 1500. Could be dangerous too.

X15... No matter what they tell you, you do not have to take that truck. Just tell them that its not safe for you and your family. That is if you listen to everyone here. Good luck.
