Gordypig, RVSA states they recently took over the entire training inventory of camping world. How long ago did you attend?

Daveenstrand I actually live in Otsego and my house is about 5 miles from the camping world in Rogers. I would actually like to talk with you on the phone if you are willing. Want to compare notes.

Been working on RVs of all kinds doing alittle of everything on them(about forever). Now I'm looking at retirement and considing in receiving training as a tech. There's a community college that offers home corrspondence. they seem to be in the loop with most manufactures of rv components and appear to have a good reputation. They had a semimar at the Northeast rv show in Hershery Pa. this past year

The wife and I were talking about this very same thing, working out of a campground. We are full timers and workampers. A,t the campground where we are at right now, I have already fixed a fifth-wheelers water problem and a small electric problem for a pop-up.

I'am not a certified tech. only did this to help out fellow campers and accepted no monies in return for services.

I plan to get the schooling and start my own business. As we travel to workamping assignments , someone is always in need of repair at parks.

Not much to add to this other than I think there would be a great demand for it. I believe there are plenty of people that are baffled by how the systems in their RV work and it is getting even more challenging to be the handy man that can fix things the more they put in circuit boards for the different systems. Used to be a little basic electric wiring skill and some basic mechancial ability was all you needed to keep your rig going.

Good Luck in your new endeavor.
